Hiuser, Laverne Levi:
With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Laverne Hiuser on April 06, 2021 at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo at the age of 89. Cherished husband of Norma. Laverne will be lovingly remembered by his children; Gregory (Lori), Bradley and Kevin all of Kitchener. Precious memories are left with his grandchildren Amanda, Alexander and Jennifer and great-grandchildren Jalen, Bentley and Magne. Survived by his sister Irene Rose, and predeceased by his parents Joseph and Susanna, and his siblings Kathleen Ravoi, Mabel Strome, Ruth Schram, Marjorie Robertson, Frederick, Herbert, Kenneth and Joseph. Laverne was a faithful employee of John Forsyth for 41 years and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Private cremation has taken place under the direction of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A family graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Bresalu.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada, the Arthritis Society or St. Matthew's Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
