With broken hearts and precious memories Kristina's family sadly announces the peaceful passing of their mother on May 11th, 2022 at the age of 89. Having lived a full and remarkable life, Kristina is remembered by her three children, Miro (Margaret) Benedik, Tibor "Sam" (Linda) Benedikovic and Christine (Rod) Pfisterer.
She will be greatly missed by her five grandchildren: Miro and Margaret's three daughters, Jennifer (Tim) Feltham, Karen (Matthew) Popik and Stephanie Benedik (fiance Taylor Accursi), and Christine and Rod's two sons, Brett and Ryan Pfisterer. Kristina was also cherished by her four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander Feltham and Samuel and Nicole Popik.
Kristina loved her family with all her heart and touched the lives of countless others with her giving spirit, zest for life and boundless energy to do so much for so many. She will be greatly missed by us all.
Kristina's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Westmount LTC for the care of their mother in the past few months.
Kristina's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30 PM - 3:15 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service in the funeral home chapel will follow at 3:30 PM.
