Obituary for Kim Donald Bauer

Kim Donald Bauer passed away unexpectedly, at his family home, on Monday, June 13th, 2022, at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of 42 years to Jane Hatton-Bauer, loving father of Brooke Bauer (Charles Bendaly) and Paige Bauer, and proud papa of Hunter Charles Bendaly. Son of Janet Bauer and the late Donald Bauer, brother of Carrie Bauer (Wayne Strome), Joan Levan (Bill Levan), and Jason Bauer (Kimberly Bauer), he will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews.

Kim demonstrated his athletic ability and love of sports at an early age, playing university and Junior B Hockey and then enjoying a passion for golf that lasted throughout his adult years. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, the founder of The Bauer Skate Company, Kim turned his passion for sports into a lifelong career. His company Tournament Sports Marketing Inc. (Jackson Ultima Skates) was his driving passion and legacy. He built a global business over 36 years and proudly sold his business to CCM in 2021.
