Wonderful Aunt and God mother

I remember both Aunt Kay and Uncle Al together. My mother Clarene is Al's sister. Al and Kay were also my Godparents. Being abandoned by my father, the entire Schagena family was there to support us, Grand parents Edwin and Jenny, Uncle Stewart and Aunt Jo and Uncle Al and Aunt Kay. Al and Kay were always there visiting and bring us gifts and other things. I specifically remember getting some of Rays hand me down cloths and to me that was great. I remember the cowboy gun and holster set and his 3 speed gold bicycle that I got when he traded up to a 10 speed. I also got a "Johnny 7" Army assault gun for Christmas one year from them. It was called a "7" because of the 7 features it had, machine gun, pistol, grenade launcher and a few other attachments, lo... I was all set to play war. My fondest memory was sometime in the late 1960's. Al and Kay picked up my mother with her 4 boys and I believe it was in a light blue coloured convertible car? and we drove to the Toronto Airport, just to see the plane land and take off. We were in a covered parking garage a few stories up and had a sandwich picnic styled lunch watching the planes, Wow that was a long time ago, thank you Aunt/Godmother Kay for being such a large part of my childhood.....
