Katharina Nunziato, age 85 of Kitchener, Ontario, passed away on July 15, surrounded by family.
Born on August 4th, 1936 in Neu Pasua, Yugoslavia to Johann and Elisabeth Wittmann.
Beloved wife of the late Emilio Nunziato (2001).
Dear Aunt of Thomas (Nancy) of Rodney, Barbara (William) Kurtz of Cambridge, Anita of Kitchener, Darlene (Alan) Bobryk of Coldstream, BC and Patrick (Suwanan) Wieland, of Balingen, Germany.
She will be missed by her great-nephews and nieces: Scott Mohan (Emily Ayres), Peter Mohan, Jonathan & Melody Kurtz, Philip Kurtz (Jessica Igic), Daniel & Ashley Kurtz, Jared Bobryk, Jennika Bobryk and Vanessa Wieland.
Katharina was predeceased by her sister Florina in 1946, her brother Johann in 1969, and her sisters Elizabeth and Barbara in 2019.
Katharina's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with a service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
