Stan and Shirley Hay

We've given this a lot of thought and could write a storybook about your Mother and us; however I can tell you this much right away, that we are devastated at not being able to attend in person. We've had some health problems crop up and with appointments and such, we definitely are just not able to go anywhere until we get them addressed. As for something to say, well not being there is the one thing that affects us most, we were looking forward to getting to see the older members of your Family and also getting to see the new ones as well. We loved your Mom. Shirl remembers when she first moved into Lincoln Road, into the old house, your Mom and Dad in the back and your Grandparents and us in the front. She remembers your Mom being such a good cook and telling Shirl how to do so many things; Shirl was still very young at only seventeen and needed all the help she could get and they formed a bond then and there. Thru the years we always visited back and forth, even later when she had trailers both here and in Florida we went to see her, and we were always glad to get together, we played cards and did many things together too. We couldn't say enough to express our feelings and our thoughts about your Mom to properly describe how we felt about her. So, I guess we'll just leave it at that and know that the Family will realize just how close we felt about one another. In closing I want to thank you, for keeping us apprised of your Mother's final days. God is getting another wonderful soul.
