A Million Dollars Worth of Kids

To say our mother was special is an understatement. She raised seven children and always had time for us. We lived in a beautiful house with a big backyard filled with lilacs and cherry trees and there were always geraniums decorating the front porch in the spring. Although we didnt always have a lot we never wanted for anything and Mom always said she has a million dollars worth of kids! I have fond memories of summers spent with Mom in Southampton at our aunts cottage ...down to the lake every evening we went to roast marshmallows and watch the sunset. When the grandchildren started coming along Mom was never happier then when she had a baby (or two) on her lap. She cherished the visits from them and loved giving them GG kisses, squeezing them tight! Mom was always happy, upbeat and ended every phone call by saying thanks for the call. She enjoyed the simple things, she loved nature, and her family. Her children/grandchildren/great grandchildren were her treasures.
