Hehn, Joseph Henry
Passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the age of 83. He will be greatly missed by the love of his life, his wife of 60yrs, Shirley, nee Weiler. Joe's family was everything to him and will be forever loved by his children, Cindy (Steve), Angela, and Tim (Michelle). He was an amazing Poppy to his grandchildren, Sarah, Thomas, Taylor, Bailey, Owen, Sophie and Carter. Survived by his siblings, Evelyn, Margaret Ann, Henry and Keith. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Henrietta and his siblings Audrey, Helen and Clifford.
Joe lived his life with kindness and laughter. He had many friends over the years due to his jovial nature. There are fond memories for everyone who attended his hootenannies or listened to him play guitar and sing around the campfire at the trailer.
Professionally, he taught us to reach for our dreams. He went back to school in his 20’s to get his grade 12 diploma. He started working at Office Outfitters and found his calling. He worked his way up in the company and became the Service Manager of Total Office Machines. He finished his career as a partner in the company. Still, he considered his family his greatest accomplishment. He was a mentor and role model. His pride for us was always evident.
Joe's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM with a light reception to follow.
