It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Jose De Amorim Gomes on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of Maria for 61 years.
Loving father Abilio (Ana) Gomes, Fernanda Gomes, Fernando (Nicole) Gomes, Carlos (Teresa) Gomes and Jose Manuel (Odete) Gomes.
Cherished Avo of 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Dear brother of Ana Gomes and Abilio Gomes.
Predeceased by his parents Manuel and Maria Gomes, and sister Isabel.
Jose's family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Burial will take place in Portugal.
