Obituary for Jonathan James Rieck
Rieck, Jonathan James (January 5, 1980 - August 5, 2019)
Jon passed away unexpectedly at home in Waterloo at the age of 39. Son of James Rieck and Marie Littlejohns Rieck. Brother of Timothy Rieck, who predeceased him unexpectedly in April 2016. Grandson of the late Harold Rieck and Shirley Mitchell Rieck, and Clifford Littlejohns and Verna Russell Littlejohns. Jon kept forever friends from his childhood who include Karrie, Chris, Jay, Jenn, Matt and Mark to mention a few. When Jon was growing up, his closest and dearest companion was his brother Timothy.
Jon's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A private graveside service will be held at Parkview Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the KW Humane Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
