With great sadness we announce that John passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Cathy (nee Collins). Loving and devoted father of Melanie Ottaway and her husband Robert, John Moore and his wife Kim, and Tim Moore and his wife Suzelle. Dear brother of Mary Walls (late Dr. Bill), Michael Moore and the late Frances Gifford (Dr. Ray). Son of the late Jessie Catherine (nee Clarke) and John Joseph Moore. He will be missed by his nephew George Gifford and many dear relatives and friends.
John's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A Service to celebrate John's life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Please note that if you plan to attend the visitation or the service, masks are mandatory and you must RSVP your attendance through the funeral home website or by calling (519) 749-8467.
