Hynd, John:
Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday, April 25, 2022 at The Village at University Gates in Waterloo at the age of 93.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Anne (2010).
Loving father of Cheryl Morsek (Robert), the late Craig Hynd (2009) (Allison), Dr. Jamie Hynd (Susan), the late Jonathan (2013) and Anne Hynd (Colin Angus).
Cherished by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by Junne and Stuart Crouse as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by parents, William and Katherine and siblings, Alan, Jesse Scharlach (Gordon) and William Hynd.
John's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. Masks are encouraged. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
