Obituary for John Bryan Good
Good, John Bryan:
Surrounded by his loving family, John passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of 27 years to Brenda Good (nee Trotman).
Loving father of Michael Good (Stephanie Hermans).
Devoted Grandpa to his long-awaited grandson, Finnigan.
Step father of Geoff (Jo) Bowers and Nick (Kelly) Bowers, and step grandfather of Daniel, Ellen and Harry.
John will be forever remembered by his sisters Marcia Good (the late Rosemarie Faessler) and Valerie Obarymskyj (Jan Norton), as well as his niece Tanya Good (Kam Wong), nephew Kristjan Obarymskyj, and niece Lesia Obarymskyj.
Predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Patricia Good.
As a passionate dog lover, John also considered his pets to be his family. Especially in his later years, his boy Max brought much joy and comfort to him.
Retired receiver at the Real Canadian Superstore (Loblaws). In honour of his father, John was a longtime member of the RCL Branch 121 Cambridge (Galt).
John's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9:30-10:30am with the memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30am. A reception will follow. The committal service will be held at Mount View Cemetery after the reception.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the The Lung Health Foundation-SW Ontario or a local Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
