CASSIDY: JOHN “Jack”
At the Gate of the Heavenly City on December 25, 2020, to meet Jack with open arms were his devoted first wife Val, Mom, Dad, Lorne, Joan with his Guardian Angel to guide him home. Waving lovingly until we meet again are Joan, his devoted wife and tireless caregiver, his children Ann Marie (Lucien-deceased) Milton, Kevin (Cindy) Cassidy, Edmonton, Beverley (Mike) Moffatt, Newmarket, Marilyn (Bill) Browne, Newmarket, Maureen (Jim) Gorloff, Kitchener, Colleen (Aaron) Hill, Texas, 17 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, sister, Shirley (Bill-deceased) Morgan, Ancaster, a very special cousin Dr. Earl Wynands, Ottawa, 11 nieces and nephews. Jack is “free at last” from the torments of dementia which held him prisoner in his body for many years. The family is most appreciative for the great care provided by PSW, Colin, Jack’s daughter and husband, Maureen and Jim, the services provided by Veterans Canada, and the friendship and concern of many of our caring neighbors, friends and members of the Toronto RCMP Veterans Association.
Due to circumstances, a private family service by invitation only will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St. West, Waterloo. Extended family and friends may view Jack's service on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10 a.m. via the following live stream link:
