Surrounded by the love of his family, John passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022 at Grand River Hospital, at the age of 60.
Beloved husband to Michelle of 29 years. Cherished father of Rachel (Johnathon) and Kevin. Loving son of Marija and the late John. Dear brother of Maria (Barry). Brother-in-law of Jamie (Antoinette). Loved uncle of Lauren (Jordan), David, Giulia. John will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends.
A special thank you to Grand River Hospital, to the nurses on 5D South, as well as the palliative care team for their continuous care and support.
John's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Parish, 55 Driftwood Drive, Kitchener, on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 10am. Burial at Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow the burial at Henry Walser Funeral Home. Masks are encouraged, at the funeral home and church.
