Passed away peacefully with his sons by his side at Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of the late Isaura (1986). Loving father of Manny (Neav), Joe (Karen) and the late Maria. Proud Avo of Stephanie (James), Daniel, Zachary and James. Fondly remembered by his surviving brothers and sisters, and by his many nieces, nephews and their families.
Dad loved hunting and the outdoors. His presence will now be felt in the land that grows his beloved grapes.
Joao's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Funeral Mass at St. Anne's RC Church, 268 East Ave., on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
