Obituary for JoAnne Buckingham
Buckingham, JoAnne (nee Buda):
Peacefully passed away with family by her side on September 14, 2020 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 73.
She is reunited with her late husband George (2010). Her memory will be cherished by her loving daughters Marnie (Stanley) Benoit and Jennifer (David) Pigozzo. JoAnne's grandchildren Brandon and Tyler Benoit, and Ava and Maliya Pigozza will miss their Grandma dearly. She leaves behind her loving brother, Frank and nephew Rodney. JoAnne also leaves behind her extended family by marriage Gail (Alan) Potter, Steve (Lois) Buckingham, Paul (Cindy) Buckingham and Keith (Cheryl) Buckingham. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Ida Buda and sister Francis Yurkiw, as well as her extended family members Brian and Rick (Sheila) Buckingham. She will be remembered by her many other extended family members and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of JoAnne's life will take place at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
