Passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 67 after a hard fought battle against an old foe.
Jill was born to Betty and Gordon Martindale in St. John’s, Newfoundland on September 30th, 1953. She completed her education in Kitchener, ON and had a long and successful career with J.M. Schneiders where she met her husband Rick.
Jill lived life to the fullest and was loved for her “larger than life” personality and the easy way that she shared it with her friends and family.
She is survived by Rick, her husband of 37 years, her sons, James (Anna) and Jason (Janine) and her much loved grandchildren, Brennan and Makeilah.
Jill will be sadly missed by her siblings: John (deceased) (Marilyn), Judy Roane (Denise), Jay Martindale (Carol), Janet Dallaire (John) Jeanne Lorentz (Paul), Jeri-Lou Nowak (Mike), and by her many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
