Lasso, Jeanette Margaret:
Surrounded by her family, Jeanette passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Richard Lasso (2018).
Loving mother, gate-keeper, and referee of Brock (Kelly), David, Chris, Mark (Steve) and mother-in-law of Linda Lasso.
She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Kevin, Nikki (Ryan), Corey (Jamie), Joshua, Jordan, Adam, and Mark, and great-grandchildren, Liam, Jones, and Addie.
Dear sister of William Young and Richard Young.
Predeceased by her son Kurt (2016), great-grandson Kieran (2016), and her parents Clarence and Florence Young.
Jeanette met Don at Kitchener City Hall, fell in love, and then started a family.
Together they stayed active enjoying skiing, gardening, and time at the cottage, but above all, cherished time with family.
Jeanette was also a longtime member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where she volunteered and made many friends.

A celebration of Jeanette's life will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 116 Queen Street North , Kitchener on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2pm. Rev. Cory Bradford-Watts officiating. (Masks are required at the church). Relatives and friends are welcome to RSVP through the funeral home website or phone the funeral home.
Interment has taken place in Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener.
