The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James "Jim" Eckert can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My condolences to all the family and friends of Jim. One of my fondest childhood memories was playing 500 with Kevin and his Dad. I've never seen someone hit a ball so far and accurately than Jim. Every single hit seemed like a Major League Baseball home run and it seemed so effortless. Trips to trout lake quarry in Innerkip for a day of swimming and a picnic with bluegrass country playing on the radio are also memories I look back on with a smile. Jim was always kind to me and didn't hesitate to give good advise when the opportunity arose. He treated me like one of his children rather than a friend theirs. Kevin, contact me and we can get together and share stories of how our lives have become more complicated than those simpler days! Bob Krauskopf, woodtooladdict@rogers.com
