1937-2021
Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Jim Dando passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 (at Cambridge Memorial Hospital) after a courageous battle with heart disease and cancer.
Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Maime) for 64 years.
Loving father of Jim (Lisa) and Jane.
Dear Poppa to Leanna (Vinny) and Amy (Derek).
Great-grandfather of Charlotte, Thomas and Gunner.
Jim is also survived by his brother-in-law Grant and his family and his sister Barbara and her family.
Predeceased by his parents George and Mary Dando.
Jim was owner and President of SW Terminal Warehouse. He enjoyed woodworking, cars, sailing, golf and travelling with his family.
He will be missed and remembered by many relatives and friends.
A private family service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Private cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Mountview Cemetery.
A special thank you to Dr. Chan and Dr. Higgins, the caring staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the private caregivers who supported Jim over the last few months.
