The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jim Boniface can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Memories

I remember an impressive story my Dad told me when I was a kid about a time that Jim let him check out a computer at the University of Waterloo back in the day. He told me the computer was basically the size of a whole room and I believe he mentioned that they didn't use floppy discs at the time but instead they used these punch cards to save and transfer information between computers. My Dad would later move on to become a computer consultant and web-developer and I wouldn't be surprised if Jim had an influence on his career choice. I'll always remember the good times with Family at Jim and Mary Pats house. Jim would always have a big smile on his face and boisterous laugh, especially to some of my Dads more crude and sometimes distasteful jokes. R.I.P. Uncle Jim say hi to Nanny, Jerry and Johny for the rest of us.
