It is with sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Jadwiga "Heidi" Flight on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Victoria Hospital, London at the age of 66.
Beloved wife of David Flight for 47 years.
Loving mother of Jason (Jennifer) Flight.
Cherished Nana of Ace Coghill, Victoria Coghill, Colson Maher and Xavier Flight.
Dear sister of Helen (Blair) McNeil and Ella (Eddie) Santos, and sister-in-law of Herb (Shirley) Flight.
Will be missed by her nieces and nephews Jessica, Jennifer, Krystle, Aaron, Michelle, Kimberley, Jessica, Cathy and Dean, and their families.
Predeceased by her parents Josef and Teresa Przestrzelski, and sister-in-law Shirley (Derrick) Park.
Will be remembered by her many friends and extended family in Canada and Poland.
Heidi was a longtime and active member of Sacred Heart Parish, taking part in the Christian Mothers of Sacred Heart, the Living Rosary, acting as a Lector and volunteering with many other church functions.
Heidi's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, 66 Shanley Street, Kitchener. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall.
