Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 28.
Beloved son of the late Cindy Garrett (2012) and step-son of Brad Douey. Loving brother of Zak Douey (Brea-Leigh MacKinnon), Cheyna Schaefer (Ishan Anderson), Carly Bartels and Summer Bartels. Dear uncle of Cierra and Dominic Douey and Sevyn Anderson. Grandson of Tim and the late Patricia Gauthier. Nephew of Tammy Bott (Garrett) and Amanda Schnarr (Kate Channer). Sadly missed by his good friend Paul Fleming.
Jake's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation to follow.
