Zelko, Ivan:
Passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 73.
Survived by his partner Anastasia Zupanic.
Dear brother of Marija Franc (Tony), Joseph (Ann) and Rosa Kolenko (late Joseph). Brother-in-law of Kristina Zelko.
Predeceased by brothers, Matija and Martin and sister-in-law, Erica.
Fondly missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Special thanks to Suzan Moyo for the care and friendship that she provided over the years.
Ivan's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in the chapel followed by a reception. Memorial Mass to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at St. Gregory The Great Slovenian Catholic Church, 125 Centennial Pky North, Hamilton. Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Mary's General Hospital would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
