Mason, Iris Florence:
Passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019, in Peterborough at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late William Henry Mason (1979). Dear mother of Peter Mason (Ann) and the late Rosalie Jill Smith. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Catherine, Kirsten, Allister and Frances and great grandmother of Annabel, Sofie, Claira, Leonard, Blake and Lucien.
Iris was born in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England on November 25th, 1923 to Eva and Leonard Davis. She was raised in Wroughton, Wiltshire and served at RAF Wroughton during WWII. She married William Mason in September, 1944 and lived in Swindon, Wiltshire until 1990 when she retired and moved to Waterloo, Ontario, Canada to be with her family. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in
Waterloo for 29 years.
A Funeral Service will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8 2019 at 1 pm with
refreshments to follow. The family requests that this be an adults only event. Expressions of sympathy, donations to the SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visit www.henrywalser.com for Iris's memorial.
