Lockyer, Irene Mary:
Passed away on February 15, 2021 in Kitchener, Ontario at the age of 77. Beloved wife of 56 years to Patrick Lockyer, cherished mother to Jackie Augot (Dave Augot), Patrick Jr. "Paddy" Lockyer (Kassia Sweezey), Tracey Lockyer (Byron Laing), Steven Lockyer (Julia MacMichael) and Brian Lockyer (Jill Peterson). Precious memories are left with her grandchildren; Larry Lockyer (Laura), Amanda Dymond, Courtney Dymond, Kyle Chafe, Katelyn Budgell, Jessica Lockyer, Jenna Lockyer, Paige Lockyer, Isabella Lockyer and Clara Lockyer. Lovingly remembered by her sister Anne Hancock (the late Fred Hancock), and sister-in-law Pauline Hickey (the late Don Hickey). Missed by dear friends Peg and Bill Roche of Torbay, Newfoundland. Predeceased by her parents John and Ethel Hickey and her sister Elsie Bragg.
A big thank you to the ICU team at Grand River Hospital as well as the Palliative Care Team at Freeport Hospital.
Private cremation has taken place, Irene will be laid to rest in Torbay, Newfoundland.
