With his family at his side, Ioan passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday December 30, 2019 at the age of 93.
Beloved husband of the late Silvia (2017). Loving father of Maria Mihaila (Pamfil), Letitia Burca (Teodor), Nicolae Prunean (Florica) and Ioan Prunean (Maria). Proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Predeceased by his grandson Sorin.
Ioan's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday January 2, 2020 with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9-9:45 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 with the Funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
