Obituary for Henry Amagna Sunga
Sunga, Henry:
In the arms of his loving family, Henry Sunga passed peacefully on April 16, 2022 in the comfort of his home at the age of 74. Henry was the loving husband to Zenaida Sunga (nee Ricaborda) for 50 wonderful years and together they raised their three daughters, his golf side-kick, Catherine Sunga, Christina Sunga (Alexander Ramirez) and Caroline Sunga (Douglas Sanchez). "Lolo" was grandfather to Phoenix Sunga-Doucet, Vincent Sunga-Angel, Jaylen and Lincoln Sunga-Sanchez - "Get Coffee Lolo!" He is survived by his siblings, Fe Corazon Sunga de la Rosa (Marni), Imelda Sunga Miller (late Edward) and Gloria Sunga Mann (Richard). Henry was predeceased by his parents Ricardo and Augusta (nee Amagna) Sunga and siblings , Ricardo Jr. Sunga, and Teresa "June-June" Sunga. He will be missed dearly by his many extended family and friends, especially those at Rockway and Doon Golf Courses.
Henry's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's R.C. Church on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Those who are unable to attend the mass are invited to join the family on Thursday via livestream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming.
