Passed away peacefully at home on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25th, 2019 at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of 68 years to Ruby (nee Wildfang). Loving dad of Diane (Carl) Lammert and Linda (Rick) Sernoski. Cherished grandpa to Josh, Laura, Brad (Samantha), and Nick. Great grandpa to Cameron, Kayla, Elizabeth and Wyatt. Brother of Clara Schaefer and Josephine Schagena and brother-in-law to Shirley Giilck.
Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Julia, and his siblings, Bert, Helen, Stella, Stanley, sister-in-law, Marion (Harold Becker) and brother-in-law, Ross.
He was a dedicated employee of 35 years at J.M. Schneider.
Henry's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow after the service in the funeral home. Private family interment Woodland Cemetery.
