Condolence: To Yvonne and the entire Douglas Family,

I miss him as well and my sincere condolences to all of you.,

I only knew him a short while as one of us originals at the Lee Valley Waterloo store. We shared a number of common interests and backgrounds...including the north..fishing..a good joke...love of fine cheeses and sausage...and love of our families and good friends.

I especially fondly remember his numerous ...(sometimes too numerous :-) )emails and our trips to the 3M Store. He was a good friend.

May the fond memories of better times shared together as family bring you some comfort in the days ahead, and know that he will forever live in all of your hearts.

Condolence: Yvonne and Family,

My condolences to you all. Henry and I both began with Lee Valley at the very start and I was “Kiddo” to him there. He was always one to offer chocolate at just the right time, the candy jar was indeed always full, and the array of cheeses and meats at lunch always present. But it wasn’t just the treats... Henry was a lovely, hardworking, dedicated man who wanted the best for those around him - of all ages. He took time to check in with each of us, cared how my schooling was going, and always had some worldly advice. Someday my infant son will no doubt be that fussy kid at the store counter waiting with his mum and I can only hope that we may come in contact with someone like Henry to brighten our day and give him a treat. He will be missed deeply.

Amanda
