Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Loving mother of Diana Spicer (Bob) and Heidi Prokopowicz (Rob). Proud Oma of Jessica (Eric), Melanie, Amanda (Cam) and Stephanie (Mack) and great grandmother of Noah. Dear sister of the late Renate, Manfred and Irmgard. She will be sadly missed by her family and many close friends. Cremation has taken place.
Helga's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-846. A celebration of life will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada or Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made in Helga's memory (cards available at the funeral home).
