Another beautiful Angel, Helen Zettler (nee Gauthier) was taken from us at the age of 82 with family by her side at Columbia Forest LTC on March 20th, 2024.
Beloved wife of Gerald (1938-2004) and very much loved mother of Barry (Angie), Sharon Jacquot (Henri) Bryan (Lisa) and Jason. Predeceased by her daughter Brenda Perkes.
Sister to Raymond, Gail, Joanne Gerry, Randy and Marguerite. Daughter of the late Edgar and Marguerite and predeceased by her siblings Carol, Alice, Gary and Rick.
Grandmother to 18 and great-grandmother (Yaya and GG) to 27 beautiful children.
Helen was known for her love of singing and playing guitar. She was a past member of the CWL, folk group and Charismatic Prayer group at St. Anne's Church.
Helen loved to help anyone in need and made everyone feel welcome in her home for short visits and extended stays. She was everyone's "Mom." Her home was a safe haven for the family where everyone would gather for any occasion.
Helen's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Monday, April 1st, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at St. Anne's R. C. Church, Kitchener, ON with a reception to follow. Interment will be held privately at Woodland Cemetery. Those who are unable to attend the service are invited to join the family via livestream on Thursday at https://www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming.
