Harry passed away peacefully at the age of 70, on March 3, 2023 at Freeport Hospital following a lengthy illness. Loving brother of Annamarie (Wayne) McCarter, Monica Wielonda and Helen Mudie. Much loved uncle of Stefanie, Sara, Stuart, Laura, Karen, Jessica, Alex, Craig and Angela, who all have great memories spending time with him when they were young. Great-uncle of Anna, Alex, Gillian and Nolan and great-great-uncle of Sophia. Brother-in-law of George Wielonda. Also survived by his cousin Harry who was like another brother to him growing up, and many other cousins. Harry was predeceased by his parents Adolph and Stephanie, and by his brother Art.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the care providers at Freeport Palliative Care, Heritage House, Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital for their patience and understanding while caring for Harry.
Much gratitude to Drs. Ler and Trussler for ensuring Harry's last days were spent in a place he felt most comfortable.
