Condolence: Harold was a great man. I will miss his humour and his smile. I had the pleasure of meeting him last Fall. Sue often speaks of her Dad and how they had fun on the ice. He was a true Hockey Dad taking the kids all over the country for Hockey Tournaments. I am sending my sincerest condolences to Fern and the family as well as friends. Condolence: For many years I shared the arena ice with Harold. A gentleman, on and off the ice. A quiet and good sense of humour, Harold never said a mean word. Our conversations covered theology, church hymns, the kindness of Baptists, generosity as a way of life, being a good neighbour as a one of the best things any person could be, and many other topics. I will miss his gentle presence. Always a kind thing to say, and a realistic view of life. A man of great character and integrity. I am extremely grateful that I was blessed to be next to him on the dressing room bench.
