Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Freeport Hospital at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Marilyn for 31 years. Loving Dad to Kerry Near (Pauline Mumby) and Tammy Olinski (Gary). Cherished Papa to Zach Olinski and Blake and Hailey Near. Dear brother of Wilfred Near and Sherry Marston (David).
Harold was a retired employee of 32 years at J. M. Schneider.
Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. As per Harold's wishes, a private cremation has taken place.
