Passed away quietly on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Trinity Village in Kitchener at the age of 96. Cherished mother of Rolf (Conny). Loving Oma of Nicki Milgrom (Aaron) Simone Versteeg (Michael) and Alex Brewer (Bill) and Uroma of Sammy, Everett and Charlie. Predeceased by her husband, Kurt (1995) and her daughter, Sonja (2013) (Ron).
Grete's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Red Cross Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
