I am very saddened by Greggs passing. I worked with him at ENCON in Ottawa. His ability to hold court and makes us laugh was legendary. Condolences.

When my fiancée and I moved in next door to Gregg, we thought we were just starting a new chapter in our life. Little did we know we were gaining the worlds greatest friend. When we were moving our furniture in that cold winters night, I remember Gregg sitting there in his usual spot on his porch. He turned to us and said "Don't mind me. I just love to sit and watch others working hard!" We will always remember hearing his screen door open in the mornings like clockwork. With that sound came the welcome feeling that we would soon be joining him outside to hear more stories about his adventures around the world. He was a gentle soul with a passionate heart. We will forever miss him outside on his porch.

To Gregg, you have forever made yourself a place in our hearts. On your behalf, we promise to keep your peanut market going for the chipmunks and keep the ants away from your porch. You'll forever be our friend and greatest neighbor ever.

When my fiancée and I moved in next door we were excited to start a new chapter in our life. Little did we know we were moving in next to the best friend we could have ever gained. From day one he made us laugh. The night we were moving our furniture in, he sat there on his porch and he said to us "Don't mind me, I love to sit and watch others doing hard work". We will always miss hearing his screen door opening in the morning and knowing he'd be outside waiting to tell us about all his amazing adventures around the world. Greg was the kindest man we ever knew and always knew what to say to make us laugh. Our porch will always be his.

To Greg, We will miss you not only as a neighbor, but as friends. We will continue to guard our porch from ants and make sure to keep your chipmunk peanut black market going for you. We will forever miss you.

Missing you lots neighbor,
- Alexander and Janine

When I think of Gregg, I remember "the round table", everything said there stays there, and it did. I think of meerkats (sort of an inside joke, there), I remember how he loved to mentor and teach and had a playful, fun personality He was loyal to a fault and he was always honest. Many happy memories of martini Tuesdays. Gregg knew his wines, in fact he knew a lot about the world. Anyone who took the time to know him was better for it. Laura
