Moore, Grant:
Passed away on August 01, 2023 at Cambridge Country Manor at the age of 86.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Viola.
Grant enjoyed watching horse races on television, as he kept his fondness for the sport after retiring from a long career of owning, caring for and racing horses. Grant was proud to say he knew the famous stallion Secretariat and his owners. He even saw him run in his final race at Woodbine racetrack.
As a runner himself, Grant could be seen jogging in his neighbourhood and down by the Grand River on a regular basis. Grant was a friendly and talkative person and he never met anybody he could not hold a conversation with.
As per Grant's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Services entrusted at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
