Obituary for Glenn Nick Kelly

Glenn Nick Louise Joseph Kelly:
It is with shock and devastation we announce the sudden passing of Glenn, age 61, on Friday, March 1, 2024. He was taken away far too soon from his wife, their children, their grandchildren, his family, and friends.

He is survived by Ruth, the love of his life. By their kids Mike (Janelle), Matt (Amanda), Taylor (Kelsee), Ciara (Victor). Also, by their grandchildren Levi, Parker, Reece, Hayden, Blake, Talia and two more precious babies on the way. He will be missed by his mother Joyce Kelly, his stepmother Colette Kelly, and his siblings Nicole, Debbie, and Pete. Predeceased by his father Donald Kelly and his father-in-law Carl Voll.

Glenn lived his life with family and health as his core values. Everything he did, he did for his family. He was tremendously proud of all his kids, grandchildren, and their successes. He took pride in everything he did, befriending new people along the way with curiosity, humour, or a practical joke or two. He enjoyed vacationing with Ruth and spending time together, the next part of their lives was just beginning. He never missed one of his grandchildren's sporting events and if he could not be there in person, he would be sure to monitor their progress from afar. It is difficult to comprehend because everything he did was right and true to his longevities best interest. It is hard to fathom how someone so full of life was taken this soon. We know in this time, he would find comfort in our abilities to stay strong, support one another, and begin our pathway moving forward.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., 519-749-8467.

In lieu of flowers, donations to KidSport Canada - Ontario (Kitchener-Waterloo) in Glenn's memory would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at the funeral home.
