Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Strathcona Long Term Care in Mount Forest at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Andrew (1978). Loving mother of Philip (Laurie) and Johannes (Alicia). Cherished grandmother of Kyle and Abby. Dear sister of Siegrid. Remembered by many nieces and nephews in Germany. Predeceased by parents and siblings.
Gerta's family will receive relatives and friends from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
