Kavanagh, Gerald "Jerry":
Passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (2013). Loving father of Karen Weiershaeuser (Lars) and Brent (Shawna). His face would light up in the presence of his beloved grandchildren - Papa to Ronja, Emily, Aiden, Spencer and Easton. Fondly remembered by many friends and colleagues.
Private cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Resurrection Cemetery in Sarnia. Officiated by Rev. Angela J. Cluney.
In honour of Jerry’s love for camping and being by the water, the Celebration of Life will be held at Laurel Creek (location - Critter Pavilion), 625 Westmount Rd N in Waterloo on Saturday, June 25th from 2-6pm. All are welcome, dress for the weather and bring a lawn chair if you wish. Please note that standard park fees will be applied at the park gate.
