Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, April 8, 2024 in his 101st year.
Beloved husband of the late Cynthia (nee Lovett). Loving father of David (Lola), Lesley and Robert. Devoted grandfather of Alison, Gregory (Christine), Michael (Jessica), Keidi (Tom), Jona (Zach) and Ina (Bailey). Great-grandfather of Brenna, Zeke, Seth, Courtney, Evan, Arianna, Jade and Zayn. George will be fondly remembered by the members of the various Bridge clubs he was involved with.
George's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
