Condolence: Whenever I see schnitzel....I think of your wonderful wedding.

Proud of all that you have overcome. Proud of you for creating a wonderful family.

So thankful that he gave me a hug the last time that I saw him. I was planning on returning the favour. He was a good one!

Condolence: I didn't know George very well , in fact I didn't even know his last name. Working for the City of Kitchener I talked to and occasionally worked with him a few times a year over the last 18. When working at one of the cemeteries I enjoyed his company immensely. He was one of the friendliest people I have ever met, always a complimentary word, a quick one-liner, a huge smile and a laugh I will never forget. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. Please accept my condolences.

Condolence: Thank you George for your many years of service to the city, the cemeteries and to the community. You have helped many families who have experienced a loss from behind the scenes, to ensuring every detail was looked after at a difficult time in their lives. It is hard to believe we are here trying to do the same for you. We want to honor and pay tribute to the amazing person you are in every way we can. We have loved having you apart of the cemetery team. You always shared your knowledge, supported us, and made us laugh along the way. You will be greatly missed but forever remembered. Thinking of all of your family and friends at this time.

Condolence: I worked with George at the Aud and the City for many years when we were in our 20s and he was one of the funniest guys I have ever worked with. Quick with a creative nickname for all of his co-workers and he was always able to make any situation lighthearted. So sorry to hear this news.

The Big Swede (thanks George!) sends his heartfelt condolences.

Condolence: My love and hugs to you Simone and your beautiful children. I -- like everyone else...had a special banter with your husband. There wasn't a time I saw him that we didn't go back and forth with some witty sh%$. I loved him when we worked at the Aud together 30 years ago and I loved him when we had a burger at the KOF not a few weeks ago...in the shade. Because "how the f@$# do you become allergic to the sun??" xoxo
