Passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the age of 58. He suffered in silence for many years after a long and courageous struggle with pain from an accidental fall 20 years ago.
Loving brother to Joseph (Appy), Lily (Brian) Freiburger, John (Renee), Peter (Lizi), Daniel (Irina), and the late Paul (2013).
Cherished uncle to Joshua (Heather), Caitlin (Alex), Karly (Matt), Isaiah, Laura, Zachary (Yifan), Jordan (Phaite), Daniel, Lucy, Caterina, Jonathan, Edward, Bettina, Rafaela, Dennis, Adina, Christine, Zipporah, Salome, Tabitha, Naomi, Malachi, Levi, Jedidiah, and Titus.
Proud great-uncle to Stella, Leila, Sapphira and Sadie.
Fondly remembered by his large extended family and friends, he will be dearly missed by his social outings group, Lily, Josh, Lucy and Mariana. Sadly missed by his friend Boe.
Predeceased by his parents, Zarie and Karen (Boka) Boronka.
George had a youtube channel titled " George's Patch". Starting in the fall of 2022, he shared his journey of living with a disability and also shared personal opinions and commentary on various topics. These videos are a gift to his family.
George's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. with tributes at 7pm in the funeral home chapel.
