Colella, Gennaro "Gino":
Gennaro was born in the small Italian town of Mola di Bari. Cherished son of Stefano and the late Nicoletta (nee Griseta). He was the beloved husband of Colleen. Father of Steven and step-father of Kelly, Crystal and Shane. Dear brother of Nicola (Porzia), Vito (Tami) and Anna (Pietro). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends. Gino passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the age of 64.
Gino was a loving husband, considerate brother, and a faithful Leafs fan. He was intelligent and hardworking. He had countless hobbies including music, trains, literature, sports, coins, stamps and model building. His wit and humour touched many lives and he will be greatly missed.
Gennaro's family will receive relatives and friends from 12-12:45 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel followed by a reception.
