Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in Kitchener at the age of 88.
Born in Lautlingen, Baden Württemberg, Germany.
Predeceased by her husband, Gerhard in 2004, whom she married August 29, 1955.
Dear mother of Erna (Dieter+) Bolkart of Honey Harbour, Ontario, Adelinde (Gerhard+) Maier of Tailfingen, Germany, Angelika (Jürgen) Maute of Onstmettingen, Germany, and Dietmar (Sonja) Biselli of Kitchener. Loving Oma of Sandra, Daniela (Joe), Verena, Nadine (Jan), Larissa, Martin (Daniela), Stefanie (Nils), Maximilian (Autumn) and Felix (Amanda). "Oma Franziska" of Janine, Matilda, Tim, Emely and Rudy. Franziska will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Antonie and Erna.
Franziska was a proud member of the Alpine Club.
Franziska's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's RC Church, 56 Duke St. W, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
