Ruby, Florence Joan (Nee Zinger):
Passed away on September 16, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 90. She is predeceased by her loving husband Chadwick Ruby. Florence was the beloved mother of Diane Calma, William and his wife Luisa, Mark and his wife Elizabeth, and Margaret and her husband Christopher Ritchie. She will be dearly remembered by her grandchildren, Chadwick, Stephanie (Nick), Benjamin, Scott (Jill), Krista, and Sean. Florence is survived by her sisters, Joan Kozak, Patricia Sonnenburg and Margaret Park. Predeceased by siblings Marie Spence and Billy Zinger. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Florence's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 PM on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral mass will be held for Florence at 11am on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church with a light reception to follow in the Parish Life Centre. A private family interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
