Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 22, 2020.
Beloved wife of Gary. Loving mother of Steven and Michael. Dear grandmother of Lily and Wesley. Dear sister of Maurice and Christopher.
Along with being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Florence was a strong advocate for community, working in co-operative housing for many years. Her tireless efforts towards creating a kinder and more just society will be remembered by many.
A celebration of Florence's life will be held Saturday March 7 at Doon Pioneer Park Community Centre, located at 150 Pioneer Drive, Kitchener, ON, N2P 2C2, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, please consider making a donation to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation.
