Passed away peacefully on June 1st in his 90th year.
He was predeceased by his parents Herman and Gladys, brother Austin, sisters Verda and Mary (Johnson) and brothers-in-law Ray Middletown and Ray Norris. Survived by his sister Marilyn (Norris) and brother William (Judy) and brother-in-law Alan Johnson. Uncle Charlie will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff, the PSW's at St. Joseph's Health Centre. They all came to love Father as he lived in their facility. The family also wishes to especially thank Dr. McPherson for her kindness and support during Fathers stay at St. Joseph's.

Father Charlie was ordained May 26th, 1956. His first parish was in Oakville and finished at St. Clement's in Cambridge. He served in parishes in Hamilton, Kitchener, Maryhill, Fergus, Elora and Brantford. He loved golf and gardening at the cottage. He was especially kind to his mother in her declining years. Sunday supper with his mom and family was a regular occurrence.

Visitation for Father Charles will take place at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, ON Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 P.M. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C. Church at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 7, 2019. Reception to folllow at St. Clement's Church Hall. Interment will take place at St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill.
